Christmas Party
Atlanta Chapter, H.O.G.'s Christmas Party will be Friday, December 22, 2000 at the Horse Park in Conyers. This year, the first time in Atlanta Chapter's 15 year history there will be a Member Charge...$20.00. This is due to the cost of printing our Newsletter and "bundled" with what was spent on last years party which we just got paid off. It will be a full dinner on china plates, DJ and a pay as you drink bar.
Printer Needed
If you can help us with our printing of the HOGWASH, please call Rene' at Harley-Davidson of Atlanta and discuss what you can offer. Thanks, we really need some help.
Another year is coming to a close for the Atlanta Chapter, H.O.G. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all members and officers for a great year. We had so many activities and rides throughout the year that everyone had an opportunity to participate. I would like to give special thanks to Harley-Davidson of Atlanta (Eddie and Chris Houghton) for their support throughout the year as our sponsors.
It is my belief that new ideas and planning are the key to success. In November a new group of officers will be elected to take over the Atlanta Chapter on January 1st. Please give them the support that you have extended the Chapter this year.
We still have some activities and rides in the month of December. Make sure you put it on your calendar to make the Children's Christmas Ride to Christian City. It is being sponsored by Ladies of Harley's Tommye Sigerfoos.
Also make plans to celebrate the Holiday Season with us at the Atlanta Chapter H.O.G. Christmas Party being held at the Conyers Equestrian Horse Park. Further details are in this Newsletter from Rene'. It should be a great time.

Secretary's Report
It's that time again. Everyone get ready for our last party of 2000. This year we will be having our Christmas Party at the Georgia International Horse Park in the Carriage Room. We will be selling tickets. I know that we have never done this in the past as we have been very fortunate that we had enough funds to cover this at the end of the year, but with the cost of everything going up, we have to charge this year.
But I'm sure everyone will have a great time. We will have a buffet dinner and a cash bar. I have the tickets for sale at the shop. The price is $20.00 per person regardless of age. We have rooms blocked at the Hawthorn Suites Golf Resort for $79, $89, and $99. Please call (770) 761-9155 and tell them you are with Atlanta Chapter H.O.G.
Deadline will be December 1, 2000. There will also be a shuttle bus provided for those who need it. Dress is casual to semiformal and please bring a gag gift we are going to try something different this year. Don't be left out. Get your tickets early as seating is limited.
As everyone knows, we were to have Officer elections at our November meeting. Well, we had no one running against anyone so here are our new officers:
Director: B.K. Ellis Asst. Director: Dick Cadou Secretary/Treasurer: Rene' Durham Ride Director: Steve Johnson L.O.H. Director: Patty Toney
Eddie and Chris Houghton have approved them. Please support them in the upcoming year. These people will work hard to keep you, the members, busy with rides and different events for 2001.
Don't forget that we are having Chili Night at the November Meeting, so bring your favorite bowl of chili. Cheese, onions, and other fixin's will be provided. Rene' Durham

We had a great turn out for the 15th Anniversary Party and the Dessert Contest entries were wonderful! I'd like to thank all the contestants for making this a fun event and working so hard on each dessert. They got really creative with the names of their entries like: Road Kill Pudding, Chocolate Wide Glide and Fatboy Fudge. They were all delicious and we all had a great time taste testing each one. Special thanks to Eddie and Chris Houghton for donating the H-D gift certificate.
The people's choices were:
First Place - $25.00 H-D Gift certificate went to Julie Bode for her Earthquake Cake.
Second Place - Atlanta Chapter H.O.G. Anniversary T-shirt went to "Dirt" for his famous Roadkill Pudding.
Third Place - Atlanta Chapter H.O.G. T-shirt went to Judy Smith for her Eclair Cake.
Lets do this again next year! What a treat!
Let's ride and have FUN!!

Atlanta Chapter, H.O.G. has a "Club Address" on Yahoo at the following URL: http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/atlantachapterhog
Please, check it out! You will be able to chat with other Atlanta Chapter Members. You will have to register to sign on to chat, load pictures and post messages. When you register, please give us you name, city and email address. That way other members will recognize your name and be able to email you as a member of the Atlanta Chapter and not someone in Kalamazoo. You will also be able to check out other Harley related clubs around the world. If you have problems, email me and I will try and help.
Jim Keely keeps the calendar up to date, so there is no need to miss an important event date.
This does not replace our HOGWASH Web Page, http://atlantahog.tripod.com or the HOGWASH Newsletter, just another e-service of the Atlanta Chapter.
